Meanwhile, 50,000 small investigative agencies, 100,000 corporate/insurance investigators, and 400,000 small-firm attorneys are forced into a patchwork of Word, Excel, Canva, Hunchly, and half a dozen disconnected apps just to get basic casework done. It destroys workflow and breaks evidence integrity. CaseLight solves this by building a secure case management and evidence retention system where cases live on the investigator’s hardware, data never leaves their control, metadata stays intact, nothing gets overwritten, and there’s no cloud or subscription trap.
